She was born on February 4, 1930 in Detroit to Matteo and Grazia Vitale. She married the late Armand Gino Lombardi on January 10, 1948. They had five children and were married for 73 years. She was reunited with her husband in heaven only three months after his passing.
Ursula was bold, feminine and had a witty sense of humor. Anyone who knew her was blessed by her presence. Her kindness was contagious, and her personality unforgettable. She was a passionate Christian, who was always speaking about Jesus Christ. She asked strangers and family alike about their relationship with Him and joined many hands in prayer.
Ursula was the loving wife to the late Armand Gino Lombardi and mother to Elizabeth (Steven) Williams, Alex Lombardi, Matthew (the late Cindy) Lombardi, Grace (Sam) Zerilli and Linda (Bill) Currie. She is adored by her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on July 2 at 2:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI. A prayer service will be at 7:00 pm. Ursula will lie in state at 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 10 AM on Saturday, July 3 at 9:30 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 17051 24 Mile Rd Macomb, MI. Armand will also be honored during the funeral service. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Township, MI.
