Victor Szymanski born on June 2, 1923, passed away on March 19, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Victor was 90. Victor survived Camp Oswiecim/Auschwitz Concentration Camp from 1940-1942; survived the Warsaw Revolt of 1944; served in the Korean War and in World War II. Victor served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1954. Victor worked at General Motors Fleetwood Plant from 11-1-1956 until he retired on 1-1-1986. Victor is survived by his daughters, Marie and Nancy (Triggs); son-in-law, James; and his granddaughter, Victoria Clair Wilson. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Resurrection Funeral Home; 40800 Hayes Road, south of 18 Mile Road on the East Side, Clinton Twp., Michigan 48038 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.
