Virginia was born on August 23, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Sigurd and Georgia Ruth (McCleary) Ericksen. She enjoyed baking, singing in the church choir, and crocheting. Virginia will be dearly missed by her daughters, Linda (Jerry) Bracewell and Susan ( Dale) Downey, and her son, John (Darcie) Brunette, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sisters Ruth Disanto and Susan Case, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, and brothers, James Eriksen and John “Jack” Eriksen.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 24 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 25 at the above location. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp., MI.
