Wil was the devoted husband of Tracy Howard for 46 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Julie (Brian) Budowick and Kari (Matthew) Abood, and a doting grandfather to Brennan, Kailyn, Brayden, Blake, Addistyn, and Gavin. Wil was a cherished brother to Carol (Joe) DiMaggio, Vern Howard, Cindy (Mike) Allen, Dwayne Howard, and Les (Cindy) Howard. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart.
Wil was known for his love and passion for boating, his appreciation for classic cars, and his enthusiasm for teaching his grandchildren how to fish, ski, and go tubing. He was a true family man who reveled in creating lasting memories with those he loved. Wil’s loyal companion, Lizzy, the puppy, added an extra layer of joy to his life.
Wil will be remembered not only for his love of life but for the love he shared with his family and friends. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation for Wil will take place on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Rosary will be said at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Friends may visit the church on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 am.
