William (Bill) Constantine, age 76 of Warren Michigan, passed Friday, November 15, 2019. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Kaul Funeral Home in Clinton Township Michigan, starting at 10:00 A.M., with a viewing to be held on Tuesday, November 19, from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Bill was born on November 9, 1943 to William and Anna Constantine, in Hamtramck Michigan, and was raised with his brother Ken Constantine. As a child, Bill spent many days on his grandparent’s farm, selling vegetables at a roadside stand, with his uncle, Frank Constantine. He enjoyed fishing in Lake St. Clair, any chance he could, especially in the St Clair Flats and the Anchor Bay area.
Bill met the love of his life, Jacqueline Krasucki, while attending Hamtramck High School. They were wed in eternal bliss, on May 28, 1962. Bill worked at Westward Appliance, during that time, was able to obtain a Tool Maker Apprenticeship at Kerr Manufacturing - Dental Division, where he worked for over 25 years machining dental appliances and fixtures, often through a microscope. They purchased their first home on Sobieski Street in Detroit, and then in 1977 they moved with their 4 children to Warren, on Adams Avenue.
Bill’s life took a small turn when he had to change his occupation and went from the Dental Industry to the Automotive Industry, going to work for Chrysler as a Tool Maker for the Trenton Engine Plant, where he worked until he retired in 2006.
Bill was a resident of Warren for over 40 years, where he raised his 4 children, along with his wife Jackie Constantine. Bill was a true family man, and enjoyed the time he spent with his family, and his friends, often just talking and drinking coffee. Bill loved to go golfing any chance he could. He cherished music and enjoyed playing any one of his several instruments, including the flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano, and even guitar. He would venture up north to the family cottage, located in Lupton Michigan, whenever he was able. He loved to watch and feed the wildlife, or sometimes just enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Constantine, his children, Cherie Schwartz, Cindy (Dan) Sanborn, Bill (Carol) Constantine, Susie (Brian) Kauflin, his Grandkids, Randy, Jessica, Will, Stephanie, Chelsea, Rob, Cara, Kayla, Lawrence, Brandon, Maggie, Shawn, Aaron, Chloe, and his Great-Grandkids, Mason, Lucas, Willie, Brantley.
Bill was a man who loved life, and everything life had to offer. He was always available to lend a helping hand to others, although he rarely accepted help in return. He was the type of man who would worry about the comfort and well-being of others, often placing everyone’s, and everything’s, needs well ahead of his own. Whether it was a stranded person on the side of the road, or making sure the birds and squirrels in the neighborhood were well fed and flourishing. He touched many lives while he was with us on earth, and if you had the pleasure of meeting him, you were truly a blessed soul. He was the embodiment of all things that are good in this world, and will truly be missed.
