Bill served in the United States Navy during WWII. He proudly opened an operated his own business, Bur-Ler’s. Starting from a soda fountain and ending up with three locations and many adoring customers. Bill was an avid golfer and card player especially pinochle. He was passionate about the stock market and enjoyed talking and investing with his granddaughter.
Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara, whom he married in 2003. His children, Mark (Kathleen) Fiedler, Sharon Ackley; grandchildren, Sarah (Aaron) Karns, Amy Fiedler, Charlotte Jurczak, Kimberly Jurczak, Matthew Cipa, Michelle Cipa, Sean Glissman, Krystle Glissman, Kyle Glissman; a sister Catherine O’Brian; a sister-in-law, Marie Fiedler; and many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children, Mary Ellen; his brothers, Lester, Llewellyn, Wilfred, Ralph, Donald; and a sister, Dolores Moquin.
Visitation for William will be Thursday, October 24, from 3-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. In State on October 25, from 9:30 until a 10am Funeral Mass at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
