William V. Pletcher, age 92, passed away December 13, 2013. He was proud to serve as a Detroit Firefighter and a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corp. William was the beloved husband of Jean F. Pletcher, Sr.; loving father of Kathleen Meyers, Jean F. Pletcher Jr., James (Liese) Pletcher, Brian (Paula) Pletcher, and Donna Pletcher; devoted grandfather of the late Richard Pletcher and the late William Pletcher; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
