Winifred Allyne Rowland (Wendy) passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. Born in Longview, Texas on August 9th, 1943, she was the daughter of John and Laura Robb and a sister to John, Ralph, and Jared.
Wendy lived most of her young life in Dallas and spent the rest of her life in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
She and Bobby Joe Rowland married in Dallas in 1960, and they shared 65 years together. Bob and Wendy had 4 children: Terri, Bob, Lauri, and Melissa. They were a very close-knit family.
Professionally, Wendy went to Macomb Community College for her 2-year degree and next to Siena College for her bachelor's degree. She was a Respiratory Therapist and worked her way from floor therapist to Dept. Manager. She loved the field because it allowed her to help people with breathing problems.
Her love of life came first from her husband and children. She was a gardener, collector of antique sewing buttons, and an ardent jigsaw puzzler. A lifelong cat lover, she cherished the companionship of Lady and Mr. Buttons, who filled her days with comfort and joy.
