Mr. Allan Louis Dogey, born on September 3, 1946 in Cook County, Illinois, to the late Helen Dogey and the late Louis Dogey Jr. Allan passed away at age 72 on October 29, 2018 at home with family by his side in Clovis.
From 1964 to 1971, Allan served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Allan was the owner of The Woodshed in Clovis for 30 years. His son Jason joined the business working with Al for the past 5 years. Allan is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol.
He is survived by his son, Jason Dogey and wife Shirley; daughter, Michelle Dogey and husband Jonathan Casson; brothers, Ronald Dogey and wife Lois, Kent Dogey; sister, Jeannette Dogey; and grandchildren, Garrett Dogey, Makenna Dogey, Chase Casson, and Isla Casson. Allan is also survived by his sister-in-law Donna Lowden and husband Jim. He is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Al loved woodworking, his antique cars and watching the SF Giants play baseball. He was known in Clovis for his outstanding skills at antique restorations. He was a charter member of Kiwanis Club of Old Town Clovis and a member of the San Joaquin Woodworkers Assn. Al was an active member of the Clovis community and enjoyed leading off the annual Clovis Children's Electric Parade in his 1931 Chrysler.

A Celebration of Life, officiated by Pastor Rob O'Berg, was held on Friday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Boice Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
