I just saw the obituary of your beautiful Mom and wanted to send my love and prayers to you all.  My Mom (Willie) passed away last September. While it is such a blessing that we had them with us for so many years, we are never ready to let them go. Just know you are cared about and in my thoughts.

I was away and unable to attend Arleen’s service.   I’m told it was lovely and special and very much love was shown to all of you♥️. 
I will miss her as a neighbor, and I will miss seeing you and Jeff in the neighborhood.

So sorry for loss of wonderful sister and sister-law.
Arleen & Maxine always welcomed us to their homes.
When we visit Arleen in California she would bake a coconut pie for me (AL).
They will be missed at the State fair.
Lots of treasured memories.

Aunt Arleen was exceptional at many things in life. Each year she would bless us with a card for our birthday and inside in her own handwriting was the recap of her week.  These cards would sit on our counter for several days. Greg and I would smile as we read about her hair appointment, what she had ate for breakfast or the baking she had done that week in her kitchen (a Nider girl for sure). This is just one example of her love for family. We will miss her! She was a jewel. 
We wish we could have seen the welcoming she had into heaven. Not only with Jesus but also Bill. We can just hear him, “Arleen, what the h*ll took you so long!” 
We love you all. 

So sorry for your loss of Arleen. She and Maxine spoke often during their last year here together. The last conversation was a touching one as Arleen told Maxine, on the last week Maxine was alive, that she would not say goodbye but would say I'll see you soon as she was ready as well. Many thanks to Arleen for all the birthday cards she sent to all of our family members over the many years I have been in the family.   An era has come to a close and the old school traditions that Arleen and Maxine upheld will always be treasured memories.
