Bev was born on July 27th, 1947, to parents Everett and Florence Berry, in Ephrata, Washington. After graduating from high school, she went on to become a registered nurse(RN) at Modesto Junior College.
In 1966 she met Jim Kuhtz at University of Pacific Pharmacy School, and they wed in 1968. The two fell in love and were a match made in heaven, going on to have two children, Steven and David. Being a wife, mother, grandmother, and RN were the most important parts of Bev's life that gave her much pride and joy.
She had a passion for helping people and successfully worked as a RN for 50+ years in acute care, home health, hospital, and school settings taking care of patients. After she retired, she volunteered her time as a docent at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. She loved giving back to her community and educating the public about the animals their habitats.
Bev was a kind, caring, God loving, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a woman of strong faith, and she instilled the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right in everyone she met. Bev was a true role model whom friends, family, and the community will always look up to. Bev was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James C Kuhtz Jr., as well as her children, Steven (Amanda) Kuhtz, David (Delisa) Kuhtz, and 4 grandchildren (Jack, Abby, Blake, and Acacia)
