From a young age, Brian was known for his easy smile, kind heart and big hugs. He was a friend to everyone, loved reading and always did well in school. He loved camping with his family, friends and fellow Boy Scouts. He attended many schools throughout his childhood, and graduated from Clovis East High School in 2008. He went on to get his nursing degree from Fresno City College, and completed his BSN a few years later.
Brian spent his adult life serving his community; first working in the lab at Clovis Community Hospital, and later as an emergency department nurse at both Clovis Community Hospital and Adventist Health in Selma. He was a calm presence in a hectic environment. Those who worked with him knew him as someone who could lighten the mood during the most stressful shifts. His absence is deeply felt by all who worked alongside him.
Brian’s greatest joy came from being with his family and playing outside, as long as it was not too hot. He loved reading endless books, filling the house with laughter, music, fun and games. He made everyday moments special. Brian adored his wife and kids, nieces, nephews, and siblings, and had taken on many group projects with them over the last few years. Whether it was a trip to the lake or mountains, going to the snow or just flying a kite, Brian was always ready to go on an adventure. Rainy days were for splashing in puddles, and busy days still had room for a favorite song, movie or shared laugh.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Chloe Sepe, and their two young children, Calliope and Julian; his parents, Carlo and Julie Sepe, and Juliet and David Harmon; his siblings Melissa, Karin and Mark; brothers-in-law Sean and Dale; and his niece and nephews: Alexis, Madie, Cody, Wyatt, Audrey, and Evelyn. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that those who knew him well share with them stories, favorite memories and photos to either his or his wife's social media or email to help them preserve his legacy and share the man he was with his children as they grow.
