Carmen Ramirez, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, entered into rest on December 26, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on August 13, 1941, in Carmgo, Chihuahua, Mexico, Carmen lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by her family and friends.
She was a resident of Clovis, California, where she was cherished by her family and community. Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Armando Ramirez, and her son, Angel Ramirez. She is survived by her loving daughters, Carmen Gomes (Andy), Sylvia Ramirez, Laura Luna, and Elena Cotta (Brian). Carmen also leaves behind her brothers, Rosalio Olivas and Vicente Olivas.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Nikolas Gomes (Laurel), Monet Gomes Goethlich (Jamie), Danielle La France, Samantha La France (Stephen Planting), Andrew Cotta, Sophia Luna, and Santana Luna, as well as her great-grandchildren, Elise Gomes and Irene Gomes.
Carmen was preceded in death by her brothers, Salvador Olivas, Chava Olivas, and Angel Olivas, and her sister, Maria Luisa Olivas.
The family will receive friends for Visitation on January 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California. Followed by a Rosary Service from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the same location.
The Funeral Mass will be held on January 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Avenue, Clovis, California.
Pallbearers honoring Carmen's memory will be Nikolas Gomes, Andrew Cotta, Brian Cotta, Andy Gomes, Steven Nino, Stephen Planting, and Joseph La France.
Carmen will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family will be cherished forever.
