Being native to Fresno, her value and impact on the community and the lives she touched lives on. She was married to her sweetheart, Jess Rodarte for 57 years and they had two daughters, Jessica & Corrine. During their marriage, Carmen pioneered her own destiny through her given talent as a hairstylist, even opening her own salon in the valley, Pepi’s, during the late 60’s.
Her business was a refuge for others to come and feel the warmth and light she exuded. She was well known on the local golf courses and was a fierce competitor. She played in many local tournaments, and had a mountain of trophies, plaques, and ribbons to reflect on her achievements.
In her later years, she was surrounded by family. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and in-laws felt her affection. Throughout all her accomplishments, her greatest pride was being a grandmother. Imparting wisdom, life lessons and stories to her family; Her legacy, love and light continues to shine.
She will be missed but her family will always remember her smile, her hugs and her laughter.
Carmen is survived by her daughter Jessica Priddy (Bill); and her daughter Corrine Campos; her grandson Justin Priddy (Karri), her grandson Ryan Priddy (Ashley), her grandson Nathan Priddy (Corrie), her grandson Christopher Campos, her great grandson Jordan Priddy, her great grandson Preston Priddy, her great granddaughter Olivia Priddy and her great granddaughter Blake Priddy.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband Jess Rodarte.
