Chanda is survived by three sisters, Susie Platteter (Bill), Bonnie Fridenmaker (Marvin), and Ramona Jundt (Michael).

A Committal Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, US, on October 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
