Cody is survived by father, Darell Asher; grandmother, Joan Benjamin; brothers, Jayson Asher (Christa) and Jeff Asher (Amber); and sister, Brooke Enos (John).
When you think of Cody, the first things that come to mind are his laughter, his sense of humor, and his larger-than-life personality. He was always ready for a new adventure, eager to take on a challenge, and somehow found a way to be the center of attention wherever he went.
Sometimes he could be a little much—but looking back, those are the moments we cherish the most. Cody loved tattoos, old cars, lifted trucks, and making people smile. More than many realized, his faith in the Lord was profound. He reminds us to love people for who they are, not for who we wish them to be, because behind even the brightest smile there can be battles no one else can see.
A few nights after Cody passed, I had a dream that brought me peace. He was standing on a balcony, almost as if he wasn’t supposed to be there, smiling bigger than I had ever seen. He looked free—filled with joy and excitement about something too wonderful to put into words.
Whether it was only a dream or a gift from God, it reminded me that this life is only part of a much greater journey. I choose to believe that Cody is now surrounded by the perfect love and light of our Lord, where the darkness that once burdened him can never reach him again. His faith has become sight, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10:00am at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N. Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
