Cornelia is survived by daughter Cornelia Leonard (Stephen); daughter Marian Thurber (Thomas); and daughter Vivian Tachiquin (Ruben).
Cornelia leaves behind her 9 Grandchildren; Kimberly, Tiffany, Lindsey, Michael, Timothy, Jeffery, Teresa, Tamara, Keven, and her 12 Great-Grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Cornelia was preceded in death by her husband Johannes Verheul.
Some of Cornelia's fondest childhood memories are of visits to her Grandmother's, when her Father gave her money on Sunday for candy and then when her Brother took her to the city to get candy.
When Cornelia was young she aspired to be a nun and also to teach kindergarten.
Things that make Cornelia smile are first of all, her family and then of course her sweets!
Some of Cornilia's proudest moments is when she married her husband Jan and then each time her three daughters were born.
Her special achievements is winning Bowling Certificates, Line dancing performances, receiving a Library award, and presentations for the Girl Scouts.
Her favorite songs are the Blue Danube waltz, Country music, and Ava Maria.
Her favorite color is Blue.
Pastimes and hobbies she enjoyed are Line dancing, sewing, knitting, needle point, crocheting, swimming and bowling. Other favorite things is spending time with her family, traveling, vacations in Lake Tahoe and going to Holland.
A Visitation for Cornelia will be held Monday, August 3, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 East Champlain Drive, Fresno, California 93730.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos - Almaden Road, San Jose, California 95124.
Serving as Pallbearers are Michael Pizano, Tim Pizano, Jeff Pizano, Kevin Telles, James Casey and Matt Vincent.
