

David Lee Vang was born on December 3, 1981 in Fort Wayne Indiana. He grew up in Fresno and graduated at Hoover High School in 1999. Afterwards, he spent several years in Santa Barbara, then Sacramento where he worked as a sales person in the rail automation industry.
As a child, David loved to cook. He learned from his parents at an early age and enjoyed sharing food with family members. David was also an avid lover of sports. He enjoyed playing football and basketball. His close friends will remember that he rooted passionately for the San Francisco Giants, Indiana Pacers and Indiana Colts.
Those who spent time with David will remember him for his warm heart and free spirit. He taught his younger brothers to play basketball and encouraged them to try hard in school. He frequently took time to play and laugh with his niece and nephews. He loved meeting new people and had numerous friends all over the nation. They will remember his sense of humor and encouragement. David will be greatly missed by everyone that new him.
David Lee Vang passed away on the morning of March 23, 2017. He was 35 years old and lived a happy life. He is survived by his father, Richard, his siblings: Ishmael, James and wife Janny, Kari, David, Peter, Chris, Michael and wife Holly, Julie, and five grandchildren: Lydia, Elijah, Aiden, Ethan and Preston. Then to, David is survived by many other family and friends in California, Oregon, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and across the country.
