Deanna Wanda Johnson

Deanna was born on March 4, 1938 in Kansas. She moved with her family, her mother, Pauline Delforte Lawrence and her stepfather, Delbert Lawrence to Clovis, California when she was 8 years old. She graduated in 1956 from Clovis High School. She worked at Clovis Memorial hospital for 44 years as a dietitian.

She married Marion Clinton Johnson in 1958, but later divorced. Deanna has two children Laura Lynn Voelkel married to Edmund Voelkel and son Randall Clinton Johnson predeceased.

Deanna was predeceased by her mother Pauline Pounds Lawrence her stepfather Delbert Lawrence and two sisters and one brother; Dolores June Kempton of Colorado, Yvonne Pokorny Decklemann of Fresno and Lee Lyman Pounds.

Deanna had 5 Grandchildren Brian Gumm wife Kristina, Sarah Thornburg, Breanna Johnson, Austin Johnson and Fallon Martinez husband Mike. She 9 Great Grandchildren, Sloan and Greyson Thornburg, Ethan and Jade Gumm, Abel and Ember Johnson, Nathaniel, Daniel and Milania Martinez.

In her final thoughts Deanna expressed her love for her children and grandchildren and Great grandchildren who were and integral part of her life. Her favorite place was her home and her many beloved collection of different items which she shared with her family. Her favorite saying was (That Family is everything).
