On February 6th, 2021 the Pulliam Family lost their matriarch and rock that held our family together. We lost one of the most amazing, selfless, beautiful souls. Although Alzheimer’s took you from us, it did not define who you were. Edwina Pulliam went to be the Lord surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with the love of her life of 52 years, her husband Russell.
There was no other woman like our mother. She loved her family fiercely. Her immense dedication and love to all was untouchable. Our mother enjoyed family, friends, music and cooking. Her nature was to endlessly give. She never turned her back on anyone, not even a stranger. Our parents opened their house to all, and to many it was considered their home.
Edwina ran an in-home daycare for over 25 years providing unconditional love to so many children. She retired working side by side with her husband at Holiday Gardens Retirement Inc. She showed us how to be kind, giving, and most of all how to put others before ourselves. We are forever grateful to have been blessed with this woman we called our Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt (Dante), and a friend to so many.
Edwina is proceeded in death by her husband Russell, her sister Lela Ridenour, and her parents Edwin and Evelyn Jester.
Edwina is survived by her son Shannon, wife Meredith, daughter Tiffany, husband Craig, daughter Amber, husband Rick, daughter Erin, husband Colin. Her 11 grandchildren, Hunter, Rushael, Haylee, Giana, McKenzie, Taytum, Champney, Avery, Parker, Cole, & Courtlin. She was also blessed with 6 beautiful great grandchildren: Rylee, Gino, Maddox, Quinn, Brixton, and Harlow. She is also survived by her two nieces Vicki and Diane whom she loved and adored and helped raise as her own, and many extended family members. May you rest in peace this not goodbye, it’s see you when we see you again.
