Rick this is the last picture ever taken of my wife Linda before she passed in 2018. It is a very special picture for me as you would think. Elaine and Linda are now in heaven together waiting for us. Rick I truly know your sorrow. God bless you and your family.

Elaine was a wonderful teacher and mentor! I had the privilege of working with her at Cole in 1998 as her student teacher. She was supportive and gave me the tools to start my teaching career. Years later, she taught both of my daughters. She loved and nurtured them as well. I always enjoyed stopping by to visit her on Back to School or Open House events. She will always be their favorite teacher, and mine as well! ❤️

I have wonderful memories of my cousin, Elaine. I was in her wedding and when my parents would visit her parents, she and I had a few adventures and great visits. We lost touch over the years and I reconnected with her in the last 4 years primarily through social media. My parents loved visiting her parents. Her dad was my mom's favorite cousin. I knew Elaine as a vibrant young woman and she remained that way until the end. I regret not seeing her over the years but I am so happy she had a wonderful family that supported her every step of the way. I wish her family peace and calm. Elaine is an angel by their side, watching over them.

The angels are rejoicing to have Elaine among them. It is sad for us who will miss her...but we have to be excited for her. We can't even begin to fathom how glorious Heaven is. This life here is just a blink....but Heaven is for eternity! Life here isn't the "main event"....eternity is! Because we can trust what The Bible promises us, we KNOW that Elaine is in Heaven.

I had the privilege of teaching with Elaine for a year at Cole. We shared a classroom along with lots of laughs and stories! She was always encouraging and full of wisdom both to me as a teacher and as a mom . I appreciated her warm smile and kinds words. She was clearly a mom (and grandma) who adored her family and of course her beloved Rick. I could tell she was just as in love with him as the day she met him.
