Elvan, you have been in my life since day one. Bet you and Dad and so many others are just laughing and talking about all the great times you all had. Elvan has been a very dear friend of mine for about the last 45 to 50 years. We had some crazy times back in the day...trips to Rosarita Beach, Pismo, San Franncisco, riding I the Clovis Parade in the Model A and BBQs at the lake with his kids. All of these are wonderful memories of a long time passed.
In 2007 Elvan reunited me with a friend of mine from high school,  Jon Rose, who later became my husband. Elvan and Rosa were frequent visitors in our home.
When Jon passed in 2016 Elvan was there to offer condolences and his support.
Elvan has been a true and honest man all these many years.  My life has been blessed by his friendship and I will always keep these special memories close to my heart.
Until we meet again on the other side...I love you Elvan Ray...💜

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Elvan Ray. A very special friend of mine and brother Orville Recek. We all met back in the sixties. Elvan and Orville ran all over town riding on his 3 wheeler having a blast. Orville passed in 2016 and I'm sure they will meet and ride again. I love you both.
 See you when we meet again. R.I.P.

I remember the day was hot, the food was good and Tinker was texting and he needed some help reading it. RIP

Elvan would always ask me when is the next barbecue! Or, Puncho wants to go back to Buttonwillow again! And at the end of every phone call Elvan would tell me Later Gator & I would say After While Crockadile ! And then  Audios! Or if I didnt answer he left message Regroup! And many more sayings, Miss you my Friend! Rest in Peace Brother!!

My friend I'm truly going to miss you. You taught me so much in our short time knowing eachother. You called me your family and constantly put a smile on my face with your quick  lyrics that you would burst out in when a situation reminded you of something. You would talk to me for hours with many stories of your years of fun-filled life adventures. When there were instances that needed no comment I'd look over and you would give me a wink of understanding. I feel blessed to have known you.
