Erna is survived by son Herbert Medrano (Ann); daughter Helen Pewthers (Christopher); daughter Diana Benenati (Tim); and son Richard Medrano (Tammy); grandson Michael Medrano (Partner Lindsay H.), grandson Jonathon Medrano (Partner Lindsay R.), grandson James Pewthers, granddaughter Zoe Benenati and grandson Mason Benenati.

Erna was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Medrano; father Michael Bierl and mother Balbina Bierl; brother Frederick Bierl; grandson Clayton Benenati.

Serving as pallbearers are Herbert Medrano, Richard Medrano, Ron Nijmeddin, James Pewthers, Michael Medrano and Jonathon Medrano.
