Fae Osterberg, a cherished resident of Clovis, California, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on February 6, 1935, She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
Fae was known for her devotion to her husband of 65 years, Carl, who passed away in 2018, and for her handmade needlepoint pieces, a passion that she pursued with dedication and skill throughout her life. Her artistic talents brought joy to many and will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to receive a piece of her work.
She is survived by her son, Kent Osterberg (Kay Firor), and her daughter, Carla Hashimoto (James Hashimoto). Fae is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Virginia Latimer, and her sister-in-law, Willora Day. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Colby Hashimoto, Casey Hashimoto, Melissa Firor, and Brent Osterberg. Numerous nieces and nephews will remember her fondly. A niece, Patti Day-Bibb, was especially close to Fae and was like a daughter to her.
A Graveside Service will be held in her honor at Sanger Cemetery, located at 568 S Rainbow Route, Sanger, CA 93657, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
Fae will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
