After completing his undergrad and his graduate education he embarked on a fulfilling career in the medical field. He enjoyed taking pictures in Central California including the Southern Gold Country, the Sierras, Central Coast and valley locations. He also enjoyed many years of playing golf and Go Karting with his dad Art, son Andrew and his good friends Bob and Mark.
Garry never complained and appreciated life very much. He was a very caring and positive soul, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His greatest joy in life was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Ofelia DeYoung of 42 years, his son Andrew DeYoung, his daughter Jennifer Kramer (Dan) and his adorable grandchildren, Connor Kramer and Isabella Kramer.
Garry was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Bettye DeYoung.
A Celebration of life for Garry will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church, 1726 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612
