Gilbert is survived by his wife, Debra L. Borjas; son Angelo Borjas; and son Jonathan Borjas; brother Martin Borjas, brother Mark Borjas, sister Eleanor Lopez, sister Angie Borrego and sister Sandra Chacon; grandchild Haileigh Borjas.

Gilbert was preceded in death by; sister Patricia Reyes.

A visitation for Gilbert will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, California 93612. A rosary service will occur Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, California 93612. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Ave, Clovis, California 93612. A burial will occur Monday, November 20, 2017 at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612-0278.

Serving as pallbearers are Enrique Ambriz, Adrian DeLa Cruz, Richard De La Cruz, Jason Lopez, Robert Lopez Sr., Robert Jacob Lopez, Jason Flores and Stephen Lopez.
