Glen Allen Cotner

Glen had very successful career at Pacific Gas and Electric in Fresno for 40 years until retiring on July 1, 2019. He held many positions with PG&E with the last one as an operating clerk- Gas & Electric Meter sets department.

Glen graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor’s degree in 1977 and a teaching credential in secondary education in 1978.

Glen enjoyed collecting coins which started in his high school years with his grandfather’s encouragement and continued his love for old coins his entire life. With his son, they started a baseball card collection which was a great hobby for him and Ryan. He loved keeping in touch with college friends and had frequent conversations about sports, history, travel and college memories. He loved going to concerts, Fleetwood Mac and Elton John were his most memorable and carried on this fan ship buying their albums and CD’s.

Family members who preceded his death was son Ryan A Cotner (2016), and wife Claudia G Cotner (2026). Surviving members, sister Leslie Friesen and brother-in-law Glen Friesen of Chandler, Arizona.
