

Harry was born in San Jose, California on March 28, 1936 the only child of Harry N. Fredrickson and Grace Aileen Fredrickson. He attended Catholic and Public Elementary Schools in San Jose and graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1953 with Academic Honors.
Following High School, Harry attended and graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 1957. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity where he continued to remain close friends to many of his Fraternity Brothers to this day.
Harry met his future wife, Elaine Kirchner at UC Davis while attending many mutual social functions. They were married August 16, 1958 in San Luis Obispo, California. They moved to Fresno where Harry was working in Pharmaceutical Sales to Veterinarians to begin their married life. Harry was the constant provider, always had a job. In addition to his working career, Harry and Elaine had side businesses: raising and selling German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds and Hereford Cattle.
Harry’s employment in Veterinary Sales from 1958-1997 included the following Veterinarian Companies and job titles:
•Pitman-Moore - Medical Service Representative, District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, District Sales Manager (Ring Club Member), Western District Sales Manager (Ring Club Member), Western Regional Sales Manager, Western Area Sales Manager
•Dow Chemical Company - Animal Bioproducts Sales
•Johnson & Johnson - Sales Representative
•Mallinckrodt Veterinary Inc. - Senior Regional Sales Manager
Harry was a member of the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Sanger. He was a past and present member of the following: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Barbershop Singing Society, Masonic Lodge, Fresno County Farm Bureau, Pinochle Friends Group, Exercise Friends Group, American Quarter Horse Association, California Nevada Polled Hereford Association, Australian Shepherd Club of America, Travelin` Pioneers Square Dancing Club, and the Royal Oak Rounders Dance Club
Harry was a loving and devoted Family man. He enjoyed attending his children and grandchildrens’ activities: games, ballet, recitals, musical performances and sports.
Harry enjoyed traveling with family and friends by RV, ship, boat, train, airplane, car and bus to places far and near. Harry and Elaine had many interesting, educational and entertaining trips and tours.
Harry was always involved in music from his early years. He enjoyed singing Bass in the Barbershop Quartet and Chorus, listening to Country and Western music, and Big Band music. He was a great dancer too.
Country life has always been Harry’s passion and interest. Harry was an avid reader. Also, an enthusiastic spectator sports person. He obtained his Pilot’s License and flew out of Chandler Airport in Fresno.
Harry is survived by his wife, Elaine of almost 66 years, his daughter Donna Fredrickson Lettice, spouse Patrick Lettice, daughters Mckenzie and Morgan Lettice, his son Eric Fredrickson, spouse Stephanie Simmons Fredrickson, son Ryan Fredrickson and spouse Lauryn Grant Fredrickson and son Marcus Fredrickson, sister-in-law Lois Jacobs, spouse John Jacobs, nieces Michele Abbott and Isadora Chesler, and nephew Lee Abbott.
