

Bud, the youngest of three children was born in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, on February 23,1934 to Homer and Vera (Conatser) Burrows. He passed away at home on December 27, 2017, at age 83.
In 1945, the family moved to California. Bud graduated from Kerman High School in 1952, where he was active in FFA, baseball, track & football. Bud played football all four years of high school and was team captain his senior year. After graduating from high school, he married Betty Kissinger. They had two children, Michael Homer Burrows and Cheryl Denise Burrows Balestra. Later, he married Diane and they were married 38 years.
As a young man, he worked for Krum Diary & then worked for So. Pacific R.R for 3 years. He joined Gray Lift in 1959 and retired after 37 years. He enjoyed smoking a cigar while tending to his vineyard and giving tractor rides to his grandkids. Bud enjoyed many travels he and Diane made across the U.S with their friends. He had many interests including Kearney Bowl Races, restoring his classic cars and truck, a big fan of Nascar, Fresno State Bulldogs and Rodeo. One of the highlights of retirement were the many deep sea fishing trips with his son, Mike.
His beloved daughter, Cheryl and son-in-law Richard, his parents and two sisters Arlene James and Lucille Burrows preceded Bud in death. He is survived by his loving wife Diane, sons Michael & wife Kathy, Gene Mazza, daughter Natalie Ciolkosz and Husband Frank. Grandchildren Carrie Burrows, Stacey Burrows & husband Justin Forrester, Nicholas Balestra & wife Cortney, Anthony Balestra & wife Bridget, Gregg Balestra, Christopher Ciolkosz & wife Jessica, Aimee Yanez & husband Chase and Kyle Ciolkosz. Great-grandchildren Nicholas, Slater, Maci & Piper Balestra, Brighton Balestra & Aaron Ciolkosz.
He will always hold a special place in our hearts and be forever missed.
