Irene Cecilia Vasquez-Martinez

Known for her strength, vivacity, kindness, and playful spirit, Irene touched the lives of many throughout her journey. Her presence was a source of warmth and inspiration, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to share in her life.

May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who cherished her.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, David Martinez.

Irene is survived by her children, Michael, Matthew (Erin), Cynthia, Claudine (Mark), Corby (John) and Dan (Loren); her grandchildren, Steven (Luvia), Danny (Danielle), Cieanne (Michael), Tyler (Rea), Cosette, Christopher, Katherine and Chloe; her great-grandchildren, David, Alena, Adrian, Josh, Charlotte, Ember, Sebastian, Laurel, Dominic and Xavier; her brother, Richard (Joyce); her nieces, Aarin and Hannah and nephew, Malachi; her grandnieces, Esperanza and Isabelle; and her puppies, Hunny and Buster.

A funeral mass for Irene will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.

The family would like to invite attendees to wear red and purple in honor of our "Red Hat Queen".
