I remember the night I met Jack, Christian had brought him to hangout with us and a few months later he ended up at Gateway and was accepted with open arms. He was always very quiet in public, always sat in the back of class, hung out by himself at break and lunch. When he was with us, he was the most joyful, full of life person I’ve ever met. He was always smiling and he had this smile that would brighten anybody’s day. I will forever miss our car rides, hanging out literally anywhere doing anything, and most importantly his smile. Rest easy Jack, Jack’s World forever🌍💙🕊

May the love of your family and friends comfort you all during this difficult time. I was Jack's Math teacher at Clovis East. He was such a nice, quiet, respectful young man with a kind spirit and heart. My most heartfelt condolences.

I will never forget my first love, my first boyfriend, Jacko. Growing up with him and Craig as the closest things I’ve ever had to brothers was such a huge, amazing blessing. I will forever cherish running around Tom and Linda’s with Prestoni at the lake, the Grizzlies and Fresno State games, skating at the park across from Chris, playing pool with Jack Jack, Craig, and Preston in the garage, him and Preston battling over who would win my heart when we were kids, going to dinner and always having trouble finding something he actually liked, watching the stupidest movies, tricking him into eating fried goat balls, playing scary video games with Jack, Craig, and Preston in Craig’s old room at Chris’, and so much more. Jack was the most special and unique, truly a once in a lifetime kind of person. He spent months in his garage one summer building me my own skateboard from scratch with his own two hands for my 12th birthday, because I had never owned a proper skateboard before. From the fine details of the board to the deck, I could tell that it was Jack through and through. The red deck, the red trucks, even the mismatching bearings, I loved every single part of that skateboard, because it just radiated Jack. I love you Summer, and I love you Chris. Thank you for giving me my first love, a brother, and one of my first forever friends. I love you forever Jack, your legacy will live on eternally because of the abundance of love you gave out throughout your 17 years of life. We all miss you so much. But, I know we’ll meet again someday, don’t you worry. 💞

I was Jack's 7th grade science teacher. Jack was at the railroad park in Clovis, one day, when I took my two younger children there to play. Jack was in 7th grade at that time. He played with them and all the other children for an hour. When one of them fell, he quickly ran over, helped them up and made sure they were not hurt. He had a kind heart and spirit.
