Jeanne retired after 30 years with Fresno Unified School District, where she worked in the Indian Education Program. She was deeply committed to the Indian children and families of the Central Valley.
Jeanne is survived by her four children, JoAnne Sturgill (Chris), Barb Boschetto, Marty Staneart, and Philmore Staneart; her sister, JoAnn Cornelius; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Houdashelt and Chris Lubenko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philmore Medley and Emma Keintz, and her sisters, Cynthia Lubenko and Phyllis Houdashelt.
Jeanne was blessed with six grandchildren: Chris, Matthew, A.J. Boschetto, Shelby and Ethan Staneart, and Morgan Staneart, as well as three great-grandchildren. She was also dearly loved by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Jeanne will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her years of service to children, her love of rodeo, and the many wonderful memories she created with those fortunate enough to know and love her.
Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, US, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Church of Tollhouse, 27950 Tollhouse Rd, Tollhouse, CA 93667, on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:15 am.
A Celebration of Life will also be held at Tollhouse Market & Grill, 28524 Tollhouse Rd, Tollhouse, CA 93667, on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Staneart, Chris Boschetto, Matt Boschetto, AJ Boschetto, Jared Dyer, and Chris Sturgill.
