One of Jerry’s assignments at Fresno PD was to protect my family and me during a threatening time. He was with us at public events, city council meetings, grocery store trips and quiet evenings at home. It may not have been a memorable task for him but we remember his courtesy, professionalism and friendliness. We send our condolences to Donna and family.

My wife Yvette and I were fortunate enough to buy our home across the street from Jerry and Donna in Cayucos. Jerry was the rock of our community always there for us and always on point.. He was easily to coolest guy I’ve ever met. I can only imagine what he was like when he was on duty for Fresno PD but I’m sure he made an impact. He shared some great stories and was very proud of his service to our country as he should be.. He was a generous and caring friend who I will greatly miss.. I hope to share the same kindness that he always showed us as neighbors and friends. Heaven just became a better place to live with Jerry there.. May God Bless Jerry and Donna, We Love you Both! Jerry and Donna were my neighbors in Cayucos for many years and even when I moved to Morro Bay they remained good friends. We have shared laughter AND tears over the years! Jerry will be missed greatly but I know his heavenly celebration will still be going on when the rest of us get there! God bless you and
Your family!!

I remember well, when my big sister went off to marry this handsome young man and start a new life together. I was so excited to visit them at their first little apartment in Ankara Turkey. There have been many years of memories since then, which we all hold onto. My love and prayers to my family. Sharon and Don Rasmusson

Jerry and family were my neighbors for a few years. Jerry was always ready to help a friend and a fun person to be with. Donna and their children, Sherry and Craig were a credit to all of us. I will miss him.
