Jerry Dwayne Porter

Jerry was a supervisor, retired, from the Department of Agriculture. He enjoyed football and his greatest love was his family and time spent with them.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue Porter of Clovis, California; his daughters Tanya Jensen (Neil) of Clovis, California; and Karen Fritch (John) of Bakersfield, California; his brother Rudene Porter (Lillian) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his granddaughters Tosha Larsen (Matthew) of Clovis, California, and Jana Arretche (Mark) of Sanger, California and his grandson John David Fritch of Bakersfield, California. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, Clare, Caroline, Dane, Adalae and Drake.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father George Emery Porter and his mother Louanna Mary (Ayres) Porter; his brother James Richard Porter.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.

A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
