Aunt Lois made pillowcase dresses for Marika. 

She was always 'Lois' to her family while growing up and always will be in my thoughts.   When our mother was ill she was like a second mother to us.  She fixed our hair, made sure we were dressed neatly and ready for school.  She led by example with her white oxfords polished every night and was always nicely dressed.  Just a note to add that she was also preceded in death by our brother Leroy James Dixon and our sister Betty Jean Snapp.   My prayers are for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that they will cherish their memories of her, and give thanks that her soul is at rest now. I’m looking forward to seeing Grandma Dee again soon. At John 5:28,29  it tells us “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.”  Soon we’ll get to see you grandma, young and healthy, here on a paradise earth  (psalms 37:29) “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it”



Do not ask me to remember, do not try to make me understand, let me rest and know you're with me. Kiss my cheek and hold my hand.
I'm confused beyond your concept. I am sad and sick and lost.  All I know is that I need you to be with me at all cost.  
Do not lose your patience with me. Do not scold or curse my cry.
I can't help the way I'm acting, can't be different though I try. Just remember that I need you, that the best of me is gone. Please don't fail to stand beside me, love me till my life is done.  
 


My mind still talks to you, my heart still looks for you, but my soul knows you are at peace!

Little by little, we let go of loss, but never of love!!

You were the grandma everyone wishes they had. Those memories and the way you loved us will live on in our hearts forever. 

What we are awaiting in the near future…Rev.21:3,4…..’ Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”
