Jimmie was born in Fresno on May 24, 1951. He was employed as a chief engineer with the City of Fresno. Jimmie enjoyed traveling and his passdion was playing poker at the 500 Club. He passed away on January 25, 2011.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jean Bier of Fresno, his son, Andrew Bier of Fremont; his brother, John Bier and wife Maryalice of Chicago; his sister, Terry Saunders of Fresno; and a grandson Jordan Bier.
Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
