JoAnne Corner, 83, was born April 14, 1942, in San Francisco, California, and passed away on March 6, 2026. She was a compassionate, faithful woman, JoAnne will be remembered for the steady love she gave so freely and the strength se carried with grace. She lived in Clovis, California, where her presence became a comfort to those who knew her and a blessing to her family and friends.
JoAnne's life was marked by the queit, enduring ways she showed up for others--through kindness, encouragement, and a heart that made room for everyone. Her faith helped shape the way se loved, and her compassion was felt in the everyday moments that became a family's most treasured memories.
JoAnne’s presence brought comfort and strength—offered in quiet ways, in thoughtful words, and in the simple, consistent love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many hearts she helped shape along the way.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Roy William Corner; her daughter, Susan Corner; her father, John Ormando; and her mother, Susan Ormando (Silvestri).
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Davis (Rick); her son, Steven Corner (Michelle); and her brother, Joseph Armando. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Steven Corner, Ricky Davis, Tyler Corner, Royanne Davis, Michael Corner, Sierra Corner, Karli Corner, Priscilla Montell, Julian DeLaCruz, Nikko DeLa Cruz, Jaron DeLa Cruz, Brandon Ortenzio; and her great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Davis, Bella Davis, Brynn Davis, Levi Corner, Lucas Corner, Tyler Corner, Tanner Corner, Karter Corner, Tristan Martinez, Dani Montell, and Georgia Montell. She is further survived by her nephews, Mark Ormando and Tony Ormando.
A Chapel Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612, on March 26, 2026, at 10:00 am. JoAnne’s final resting place will be at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Davis, Steven Corner, Tyler Corner, Michael Corner, Julian DeLa Cruz, Nikko DeLa Cruz, and Jaron DeLa Cruz.
Though her passing brings sorrow, JoAnne's legacy is one of love that continues--carried forward in the lives of her children, grandchildre, great-grandchildren, and all who wer touched by her compassionate and faithful spirit.
