He was known for his love of motocross and tinkering with mini-trucks. He was a lifelong cement mason union member, attaining his 40 year gold card membership. He was unable to continue working after his diagnosis of MS. While he was still able to enjoy his hobbies, complications from the disease robbed him of the ability to participate and enjoy his passion.
John is survived by his daughters Katie Goldsmith (Cody); and Korey Weiss (Matt); his sister Catherine Lankford and four grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents Norval and Anne Wills.
