Dad,
How I do wish you were here. There are so many moments that I feel as if you are indeed right behind me in silent support or for mere comfort incase I fall. If only I could go back in time to those Sunday morning family breakfasts that lasted hours. Perhaps back to playing catch with you in the yard or racing you in the swimming pool. If only. Your words still resonate in my mind each time I  cry when I am reminded of your eternal absence on earth "Jen, Jen comm'on champ don't cry!" I am working on thanking God for the time I did have with you... It is a slow process but progress is unfolding.

Well Johnny last year we had to face Christmas without you and it was so hard for all, but especially Dad. He kept saying you should never have to bury your children. Who knew that 4 short months later her would be joining all of you in heaven. This is going to be an especially hard Christmas with you and Dad there. It is so hard to believe that in 4 days it will be a year since you passed. I still miss you and think about you every day..I always loved you!

I miss you so much, you were the love of my life.

Hey John...I wanted you to know how much we miss and love you. The holidays are really hard and we are all supporting each other as a family. You would be so proud of Terrie and all your kids with how well they are being there for each other. We are also there anytime they need anything. I know that all of you up there already know about Dad, but I am praying every night that things will be ok. Just like you were worried about Terrie and the kids and making sure they will be ok, he too is worried about us here. Anyway...wanted to let you,Mom, and Jim know how much you are all loved and missed.

Johnny....what words can I say? You were my baby brother who when you were little I wanted to hand in a bird cage from the ceiling....now I just want you back. I am so thankful that over the past few years we grew closer...you know how much I loved you...and now how much I miss you. I know you are with Mom, Jim, Gary, Mardelle, and all the rest of the family that has preceded you in heaven and that someday I will again see you. Love you so much, your sister Diane Rader

When I was little, I just knew I was going to grow up to marry my Uncle John. He drove the hottest Trans Am and listened to rock music; he was the coolest guy I knew. 

Thirty years have now passed, and my childhood ambitions are amusing and silly; however, one thing has remained the same......My Uncle John is one of the coolest guys I will ever know.

From teaching me how to play pool on one of my summer visits to always being willing to take me and Tori swimming when we were little..I will never forget what a wonderful Uncle he was. All my love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
