Johnny was the happiest, loudest, most joyful soul. A man whose booming laugh could be heard from miles away. He never met a stranger, never knew a bad day, and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. A jokester with a heart of gold, Johnny loved life and lived it fully. He was also a proud papa to his grandchildren: Wynter Couch, Emma Couch, Allie Couch, Preston Kunzman, Jerry Gutierrez, Jr., Jackson Couch, Bristol Couch, Katherine Gutierrez, Remmie Couch, and Hazel Couch—each of whom brought him immense joy.
Johnny especially loved the simple moments with his family—whether working hard, sharing stories, a warm burn barrel and a few cold yellow belly’s or gathering around the table for a game of Uno. Those game nights, full of laughter, playful competition, and Johnny’s unforgettable humor, will forever be treasured memories for those who shared them.
Johnny’s family circle also includes his brothers, Robert Couch (Kathy) of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Ronald Couch (Kellie) of Bakersfield, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Donna Couch, and his sister, Rebecca Epp.
