

Surrounded by his family and friends, Lance Christopher Mallach passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert (1989) and Dorothea (2012). He was also preceded in death by his precious dog Schatzie. He is survived by his brother, Loran Malach, his daughter, Marisa Malach, and his former wife and good friend, Margarita Martinez-Baly.
Lance was born in 1962 in Park Falls, Wisconsin and grew up in Fresno. After graduating McLane High School he went to Alabama for basic training in the Army. He discharged honorably after working the Military Police Corps in Fort Ord, Califonia. Lance served as a Deputy Sheriff in Kings County and then as a Deputy Sheriff in Fresno County. More recently, Lance was a store manager in Fresno and in Clovis.
Lance was kind, generous and gig-hearted. He took pleasure in cracking jokes to his staff every morning at TJ Maxx. Lance lived his life on his own terms. He was an upbeat energetic go-getter who enjoyed rock music and driving his super-sonic blue Corvette Grand Sport. He loved his country, the San Francisco Giants and the Minnesota Vikings. Lance especially adored his beloved daughter Marisa.
Visitation will be held at the Boice Funeral Home in Clovis, California on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10:00am. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery immediately after the church service. A Celebration of Life will be held after the service at Lance's home.
