Larry Rivera, born on January 10, 1939, in Sanger, California, entered into rest on November 25, 2025, at the age of 86. At the time of his passing, Larry resided in Clovis, California. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and helpfulness, having been the supervisor and a true angel on earth in his neighborhood. Larry was known for his ability to fix anything, from electrical issues to plumbing, painting, and fencing, always ready to lend a hand to his family and community.
Larry's career included driving trucks for the California-Sierra Company, where he delivered gumball machines, merry-go-rounds, and anything else that was needed. His contributions to the community were further highlighted by his grocery store, which became a beloved place for many and left an indelible mark.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Rivera, and their children: Clare Anthony Rivera (Barbara), Diane Rhodes (Steven), Judy Blackwell (Marty), and Larry Joseph Rivera. Larry is also remembered by his sister, Johna Morales. Preceding him in death are his siblings Rosie De Leon, Connie Diaz, and Richard Rivera.
Larry is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and all the neighborhood kids who will fondly cherish Grandpa Larry's memory and continue his legacy of kindness and helpfulness.
Larry was an extraordinary man, whose thoughtfulness and generosity touched many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
