Growing up in Clovis, Lorie experienced a lot of moving. However, she ensured stability for her daughters by raising them in the same home for many years. Her caring nature emerged early, as she took on a babysitting job as a teenager to help her mother with the bills.
Lorie had a passion for reading and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, whether in her bathtub or at the beach and she loved going out to eat. Lorie adored her animals of all kinds. Known for her beautiful strength and kind heart, Lorie was a devoted mother and caretaker to her grandmother and friends, always ready to help anyone in need. She was so beautifully strong and taught her daughters to be the same way. Lorie loved to Rock and Roll through life!
Lorie is survived by her daughters, Karie Anna Miller of Clovis, California; Kacie Johanna Miller of Fresno, California; and Kadie Elaine Miller of Wellsburg, West Virginia. She also leaves behind her brother, Donald Miller of Clovis, California, and her sisters, Karen Sutherland of Sonora, California, and Teresa Settle of Galt, California. Lorie is also survived by eight grandchildren whom she adored. She was predeceased by her parents, Curtis and Patricia Miller.
