Lynn Rae Champ was born in Porterville, California on the Fourth of July, 1957. She passed away on May 8, 2018, surrounded by her family in Madera, CA.

Lynn was a Claims Processor with Blue Cross of California. When the company relocated, she worked as an Office Assistant at Valley Children's Hospital Cytogenetic Department. In 2003, she retired to live the good life with her family in Madera Ranchos, CA..

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, William "Mick" Hornsby and Roberta Hornsby of Porterville, CA.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Ronald Champ; son, Trent Champ and his wife Jacqueline; daughter, Holly Champ; grandson, Brayden Owen Champ and granddaughter, Evie Lynn Champ. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Hornsby and his wife Norma; niece, Sarah Sue and her husband Aaron, and nephew, Loren Hornsby.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 at Tornino's, 5080 N. Blackstone Ave., Fresno, CA 93710 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

The Family is requesting in lieu of Flowers, donations be sent to Hind's Hospice,2490 W. Shaw Ave. Suite 10, Fresno, CA 93711.

Dear Ron, Trent and Holly,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am. Lynn was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She was always upbeat and kind as well as lots of fun- just a wonderful friend!! My family all share in my grief. We've all known and loved Lynn for 52 years. We're praying for all of you .
