Manuel was a good and loyal friend of mine for fifty-plus years. I followed his music with the famous "GGs" of the old days, joined him in writing classes at Fresno State, celebrated countless parties and dances with he and his wife, Maria. I will miss your sharp wit, quirky but funny stories, and your boundless enthusiasm for life!

Sending thoughts and prayers to you and yours Maria. It was a pleasure being part of Manuel's life even if only for a short time. Going to miss hearing about the "Hanky Panky"...
