Margarita Bustamante

Margarita moved to New Mexico in 1956 and later moved to Clovis California in 1959.

Margarita worked for Clovis Unified School District for many years where she retired.

Margarita lived her Catholic faith and was an extraordinary Eucharistic minister for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, cooking, crafting, and spending time with Peaches her dog.

Margarita is proceeded in death by her husband Raul Bustamante, her parents Angel and Margarita Moreno; her sister Maria Perez, Rebeca Bejar; and her brother Joe Moreno.

Margarita is survived by her son Raul Jr. Bustamante and his daughter Jordan Bustamante and her son Eric; her son Fr. David Bustamante, her son Marco Bustamante and his son John Bustamante; her son Oscar Bustamante and his wife Diana Bustamante and their children Desiree Bustamante, Joshua Bustamante and his wife Lindsay and their child Theodore; her daughter Maggie Bustamante and her children Carlos De Leon, Ryan De Leon, Marina De Leon and her son Easton Vigil.

Margarita is survived by her siblings Jorge Moreno, Hortencia Gonzales, Frank Moreno, Cristina Luevano, Art Moreno, Sal Moreno, Ernie Moreno, and Laura Diaz; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home on Tuesday March 31, 2026. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. after the viewing.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Wednesday April 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
