Aileen moved to Santa Cruz, California at the age of 5 then to Fresno a few years later where she lived in the Fresno/Clovis area until her death.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948. She loved her high school years and would often reminisce about them. She met the love of her life in high school Elwood Buck Kramer. They married in 1949 and were together until his passing in 2011. They built a good life together. They enjoyed traveling. dining out, playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Shaver Lake with family and friends. Many wonderful memories were made there.

All my memories of grandma Kramer are happy, warm, loving and caring. She was so huggable too. I loved when I made her laugh. She was always interesting to listen to. She was a perfect example of a grandma. But more! Her unconditional love and support helped me become the woman I am today and the grandmother I will continue to be. She made the best waffles and homemade syrup too. I also remember her waiting with a warm towel to wrap me in when ever I would get out of the pool, or lake, or ocean. She always treated me so well, she was my personal cheerleader......loved her more, Love Amy Granum
My grandma was tiny but a force nonetheless. All throughout my life she loved and spoiled us. She took great joy in giving gifts. Because of her many years spent working in the JCPenney gift wrap department our gifts were wrapped like no one else's!
My most fondest memories are of the time we spent at the family cabin in Shaver with her and my grandpa. We'd spend lazy days on the boat fishing, swimming and exploring; gram would pack a spread. If you knew my gram you knew food was her second love after family. In the winter we would walk down the street to our "hidden" neighborhood snow run. We would come back exhausted and frozen and Grandma would have quite the meal prepared for us. That was her favorite way to express love for her family, next to the gift giving of course.
She loved us all fiercely and would do anything for us. Gram always enjoyed hearing what everyone was up to and their accomplishments. I'll miss our chats and telling her the latest and greatest about the kids.
My grandma's favorite saying to us when we were growing up, in regards to what we wanted for Christmas, was "Do you want quality or quantity." Well gram I'd say you got both of those out of life. You had 91 years on this planet and you lived it well...… I love you granny goose. See you in my dreams...Love Lisa Palomares
