Mary was born on December 24, 1936, in Roswell New Mexico to Homer and Madge Walker. Being a Christmas Eve baby, her life lived up to the special date of her birth. Mary was known for her kindness, selflessness, and love to others. She always put other’s needs above her own and lived a true life of service.
Mary graduated from Kerman High School in 1955. Shortly after, she met her husband Ron who was on leave from his service in the Navy and they were married October 24, 1959, at Palm Avenue Church of Christ in Fresno, California. It is notable that Mary was in service to her church (later Woodward Park Church of Christ) until her passing.
Mary spent her life as a homemaker, tending to the family farm, and focused all her energy on her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as her numerous friends. Mary loved traveling and was fortunate to see a great deal of this world in her travels with her husband, her family, and her friends. Mary was always attentive to the needs of others, often placing the needs of others above herself, especially when it came to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years Ronald Weber; two children Ronald Weber Jr (and his wife Julie) and Janene Weber; five grandchildren, Chantel Lawrence (and her husband Craig), Megan Fabrizio (and her husband Matthew), Tre’ Weber, Caitlyn Weber, and Gunnar Weber; her great grandchildren, Riley, Mason, Corbin, Hannah, Luciano and Kamalay.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Saturday January 17, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at Woodward Park Church of Christ, 7886 North Millbrook, in Fresno, California 93720.
