Melinda J. (Taylor) Hansen of Fresno, CA, went to be with our Lord on October 23, 2017. Born in Fresno on October 17, 1950, Melinda was a 1968 graduate of McLane High School. She worked as a secretary at State Farm Insurance for 39 years. An avid sports fan, Melinda enjoyed supporting Fresno State athletics, spending time in her garden, and sharing joy through baking. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and beautiful smile.
Melinda is survived by her daughter Kelly Paramo, son-in-law Nick Paramo and their children, Jackson and Jordan; her sister, Nancy Taylor Shepard and niece, Mari Shepard.
A celebration of her life will be held at Northpark Community Church in Fresno on Monday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Nancy Hinds Hospice.
