Minnie Velma Harper passed away peacefully on January 5, 2011. She was born on April 7, 1919 in Stilwell Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Harper, as well as her daughter Hazel fitzgerald, and her two sons, Roy Phillips and Jimmy Phillips. She is survived by her daughters Lena Turner, Darlene Lehr, and Charlene Parker. In addition, she is survived by her son Ronnie Harper and her brother, Bill Eaton.
She will be remembered for many things, particularly for her love of gardening, and her love for cooking. When she cooked, she cooked "for an army!"
Minnie will be greatly missed.
